About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required.

License : Valid nursing license required.

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred, NIHSS preferred.

Must-Have : Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and aware of a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Description :

Candidates must answer a mandatory questionnaire prior to submission.

They should be aware of the job description and fully prepared for the application process.

Candidates will be required to pass a Pass / Fail EKG exam during onboarding.

The position involves working with observation patients, respiratory conditions, and general medical-surgical diagnoses.

The patient population will primarily be medical-surgical with telemetry capabilities.

Travelers may be required to float across various facilities as needed.

Candidates must be willing to work 2 out of 4 holidays.

The nurse-patient ratio will be 6 : 1 during shifts.

This role includes responsibilities such as blood product administration, managing chest tubes, and providing care for diabetic patients.

Experience with Epic charting system is required.

Candidates should have familiarity with isolation precautions and wound care management.

Candidates must be prepared for compliance requirements prior to the start date.

This position offers interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and respiratory services.

Candidates should have experience working with adult and geriatric patients.

Additional skills in telemanagement and IV care are preferred.
