Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Site Patrol

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Manufacturing Site Patrol in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while fostering a welcoming environment for staff and visitors. This position requires a valid driver's license and involves driving responsibilities as part of your daily duties. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication, embodying our values of agility, reliability, and teamwork. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

DayTime Fri 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM Sat 02 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the needs of the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the manufacturing and industrial facility and its perimeter to help to deter inappropriate activity and maintain a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns within the facility and surrounding areas.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and Allied Universal team members to maintain a professional presence.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required for driving positions in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
