Location : Westminster, CO 80023 (Float assignments within 60 miles of the city center)

Employment Type : Locum Tenens (Travel RN Contract)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Contract Duration : 13 weeks (10 / 27 / 2025 – 1 / 24 / 2026)

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1,930–$2,070 per week

Travel RN – Telemetry Float Pool Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state

Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification

NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience in Telemetry or MedSurg

Ability and willingness to float to multiple hospital units and healthcare facilities within a 60-mile radius

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

Assess and address patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interviews, and review of clinical data

Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team

Demonstrate competency in therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection

Promote patient advocacy, safety, and rights while providing compassionate, relationship-based care

Educate patients and families, assessing learning needs and evaluating teaching effectiveness

Delegate appropriately to non-RN personnel in accordance with Colorado state and hospital policies

Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and preceptor for new staff and nursing students

Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and ongoing professional development

Adhere to standards of care, hospital policies, and regulatory guidelines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Effectively manage resources and patient flow, adapting to changing float assignments as needed
