Shop Mechanic

Location : Amarillo, TX

Reports to : Service Foreman

Travel : Occasionally

Compensation : $30-40 / hour + Union Benefits

We are seeking a skilled Shop Mechanic with hands-on experience working on cranes, trucks, and trailers . The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment in a fast-paced shop environment.

What You’ll Do

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair cranes, trucks, and trailers
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks
• Diagnosing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical issues
• Keep accurate maintenance and repair records
• Support field operations when needed

Working conditions

Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and / or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and / or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary.

The employee may be required to wear appropriate PPE equipment. The employee could occasionally be exposed to extreme temperatures, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the workplace is moderate.
