    • About the role

  • The role of System Administrator will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of core infrastructure components and environment.

    • What you'll do

  • 1. Microsoft / Office 365 administration

    • a. Azure AD / Entra and Identity Management

    i. Conditional Access (and access controls in AAD)

    ii. Privileged Identity Management

    b. Exchange

    c. Intune

    d. MS Teams

    Enterprise Apps / App Registrations

    i. Modern Auth methods (SAML / OAuth 2.0 / AADB2C)

    ii. Graph API

    f. PowerShell / AZCLI Scripting experience

    2. Server and Workstation OS administration

    a. Windows Server 2019 / 22 / 25

    b. Linux

    c. Windows 11

    d. VMware

    3. Enterprise Backup Strategies

    4. Scripting Experience - Creating and maintaining PowerShell scripts.

    5. Fundamental Networking

    a. Switching / APs (Aruba experience preferred but not required)

    i. Vlans

    ii. QOS

    iii. Authentication

    iv. Management

    b. Firewalls (Fortinet Experience preferred but not required)

    i. ZTNA

    ii. Network segmentation

    iii. Policies

    6. Microsoft SQL Server Administration

    7. Azure (Preferred but not mandatory)

    a. Azure Networking

    i. Private Link Services

    ii. Private Endpoint Services

    iii. Network Security (Azure Firewall, Service Firewall, NSG, WAF)

    b. Azure Backup (plus for Azure Site Recovery)

    c. IaC concepts - BICEP preferred

    8. Experience documenting systems, configuration and developing SOPs

    9. Insurance industry experience preferred but not required.

    Qualifications

    1. No jerks.

    2. Excellent attention to detail.

    3. Agile fundamentals (Scrum / Kanban)

    4. Strong written and oral communication skills.

    5. Effective listening and interpersonal skills.

    6. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

    7. Experience developing / mentoring junior staff

    8. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

    9. Strong customer service orientation.

    10. Some travel is required

    The pay range for this role is :

    90,000 - 130,000 USD per year(Rosemont)
