Water Department Director

Our client, a leading organization in the public utility sector, is seeking a Water Department Director to join their team. As a Water Department Director, you will be part of the municipal services supporting the community and ensuring the efficient management of water resources. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Williamston, NC

Pay Range : $59000 - $90000

  • Oversee daily operations of the water department, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve water quality and infrastructure.
  • Manage departmental budgets, resources, and personnel effectively.
  • Coordinate with community stakeholders and government agencies to support water-related initiatives.
  • Lead emergency response efforts related to water system issues and ensure safety protocols are followed.
