Data Management : Ensure data integrity and accuracy. Compliance : Ensure compliance with EDI standards and guidelines. Collaboration : Work closely with clients and carriers to address EDI-related concerns. Bachelor's degree in information technology, supply chain management, or a related field. Proven experience in EDI implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of EDI standards and protocols (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT). Proficiency in EDI mapping tools and software (e.g., Gentran, Sterling Integrator). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in the transportation and logistics industry. Knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS). Programming or scripting experience (e.g., SQL, Python). As an EDI Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions within our transportation operations. You will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting EDI systems and processes to support our logistics activities.
Responsibilities :
Analyze and assess client EDI requirements to determine the most suitable solutions.
Monitor and troubleshoot EDI systems and processes to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Manage and maintain EDI data files and databases.
Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to EDI.
Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., operations, IT, customer service) to ensure seamless EDI integration.
