Cybersecurity Co-Ops At Leidos
At Leidos' High Fidelity Simulation Business Area, we're not just building systemswe're revolutionizing the future of naval simulation, training, and analysis for the US Navy. Imagine being part of a team where your work directly redefines naval capabilities. You will get to work with state-of-the-art technology developing the most sophisticated and game changing trainers the US Navy deploys, systems such as CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer. You will be part of a high-powered team, performing vital work that has a major impact within the US Navy. You will be constantly learning new skills throughout your co-op employment and your work will be included in trainer deliveries and used by US Navy Fleet personnel. The hallmark of Leidos is empowered employees doing meaningful work. Leidos is seeking energetic, motivated, self-starters for these technically sophisticated and challenging cybersecurity engineering positions. Cybersecurity Co-ops may develop complex, defensive cybersecurity solutions for trainer systems and their development environments, and assess and upgrade Linux servers and workstations. All work is developed and executed in a Linux OS environment. All work is directly applicable to actual military training systems. Co-op students will gain invaluable, real-world experience on state-of-the-art computer-based systems. This co-op rotation will start in January 2026 and conclude in August 2026. Subsequent co-op rotations are available for those who require multiple co-op experiences.
