job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOversee and manage all site safety efforts on behalf of the Owner. Conduct daily site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, and maintain accurate logs, reports, and safety documentation. Implement, monitor, and enforce project-specific safety plans, procedures, and PPE requirements. Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and training sessions for site personnel. Maintain regular on-site presence and actively participate in project and team meetings to provide proactive safety guidance. Investigate and document accidents, incidents, and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are taken to prevent recurrence. Partner with general contractors and subcontractors to maintain a proactive safety culture. Provide clear, solution-focused communication between the Owner, contractors, and internal teams. Support additional project-specific safety initiatives and compliance requirements as needed. Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience, including lead or management-level oversight . Prior experience supporting healthcare, life science, or commercial construction Bachelors degree in Occupational Safety or related field or BCSP certification (CSP, CHST, etc.) required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional yet easygoing personality. Ability to build relationships, drive compliance, and represent the Owners interests effectively.

The selected individual will serve as a trusted safety partner, ensuring compliance, collaboration, and consistent safety performance across all contractors and trades on site.
This position requires someone with a proven track record of leadership in complex construction environments who can drive accountability while maintaining a calm, approachable, and professional presence on site.
