We are seeking to fill an Equipment Maintenance Helper position for the Burbank Recycling / Material Recovery Facility location.

Position Summary :

Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of Material Recovery Facility equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

• Follow safe work practices and adhere to all safety rules and practices.
• Assist and support Equipment Maintenance team and activities.
• Perform inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and repairs of Material Recovery Facility equipment, including balers, conveyors, screens, magnets, etc.
• Perform repair and maintenance of facility building and grounds
• Use hand tools and other equipment for the performance of these activities
• Use a welder, torch, and grinder in the performance of their job
• Work in support of the Equipment Maintenance team and independently on smaller jobs / tasks
• Timely and accurately document work performed on Fleetmate work orders
• Perform other repairs and duties as assigned by management.
