Allied Position Job Notes :

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

MRI Tech - MRI RAD Tech

Job Details :

  • Work 4-6 call days per month
  • Day shift Monday-Friday 7 : 00 AM to 3 : 30 PM
  • Night shift 3 : 00 PM to 1 : 30 AM
  • Weekend shifts Saturday-Sunday 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM
  • Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees
  • Patient ratio of 1 : 1
  • Work independently in department with Radiologist available for consultation
  • Operate GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T MRI equipment
  • Use Meditech EMR system
  • Perform neuro exams including MRAs and MRIs of head, neck, and spine
  • Conduct abdominal exams including MRCPs, MRAs, and MRIs of aorta, liver, and kidneys
  • Complete MSK exams including extremities and arthrograms
  • Adapt protocols for patient or physician needs
  • Maintain safe MRI environment for all patients and staff
  • Excellent communication skills required for phone and in-person interactions
  • Must be willing to learn new procedures through onsite and virtual applications
  • Dress code requirement : Black scrubs for Radiology department
  • Parking available anywhere except ER parking

    This Level II Trauma Center is a 309-bed healthcare facility featuring advanced imaging technology and a dedicated MRI department. The facility is planning a significant software upgrade from GE 23X to the newest GE 30X with AirDL technology, which will provide faster scans and new neuro and abdominal sequences. Future growth plans include adding a second scanner and expanding the department, offering excellent opportunities for professional development and working with cutting-edge technology.
