Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This full-time position offers an opportunity to work as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired serving K-12 students in an itinerant capacity. The role involves supporting approximately 10 students, some requiring visits 1 to 3 times per week. Located in Manchester, TN, this contract runs for the full school year and focuses on direct student services, assessment, and collaboration with general education staff.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students with visual impairments across K-12 grade levels.
• plete prehensive assessments to determine student needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's goals.
• Design and prepare appropriate educational materials to assist and plement general education curriculum.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure students accessibility to classroom content and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring according to professional and district standards.
