  • Employment Type : Travel Nursing Assignment\n
  • Unit : Medical / Surgical & Telemetry (32 beds)\n
  • Start Date : September 29, 2025\n
  • End Date : December 27, 2025\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks\n
  • Shift : 12-hour day shifts (6 : 30am – 7 : 00pm)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 per week\n
  • Weekend Rotation : Every other weekend\n
  • Holiday Coverage : 75% of holidays required\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy\n
  • Free Parking Available \n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470–$1570 per week\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active and unencumbered RN license (North Carolina or compact state)\n
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications\n
  • Minimum 18 months of recent Medical / Surgical or Telemetry RN experience\n
  • Proficient in Med / Tele nursing skills : cardiac rhythm interpretation, non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone), wound care, drain / tube management, PIV starts, central line management\n
  • Epic EMR experience preferred\n
  • First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to adults with diverse diagnoses, including stroke, respiratory illnesses (flu, pneumonia, COVID-19), renal failure, peritoneal dialysis, and wound management\n
  • Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 5 for optimal care\n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team : CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, IV / VAT team, respiratory therapists, hospitalists, and intensivists\n
  • Utilize Epic EMR and advanced unit technology, including virtual nursing cameras\n
  • Manage admissions, discharges, medication administration, and continuous patient monitoring\n
  • Foster a positive, patient-centered unit culture focused on teamwork and professional growth\n
