What to Expect
The Sr. Manager, Risk – Model Management and Data Engineering is responsible for evaluating existing scorecard models and bureau scores. The position will manage and oversee the development and maintenance of origination risk data and reporting infrastructure. In addition, this role will support fraud and risk analytics as needed.
What You Will Do
Monitor origination risk model (Origination PD, Booked PD, MEL) performance by product and FICO segment – Develop / maintain model enhancement needs and priorities with close alignment with modelling team.Develop and maintain origination risk data tables and automated reporting infrastructure.Manage relationships with multiple Credit Reporting Agencies. Develop and maintain product / service risk opportunity map for each CRA – Monitor purchased score performance (Income, Precise ID, Instant ID).Support fraud and risk analytics by providing monthly monitoring updates and dealer fraud assessment as needed.Lead, mentor, and develop team members by providing direction, performance feedback, and support to ensure effective collaboration, professional growth, and achievement of organizational and personal goals.What You Will Bring
Minimum 8 years progressive experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis with a business understanding of consumer risk preferred.Minimum 3 years supervisory experience.Experience working in the Automotive Finance industry.Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Computer Science.SAS, SQL, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relational database concepts.Knowledge of UNIX, R, Model Builder, Python, Knowledge Studio or C++.Knowledge of statistics and its applications.Comprehending instructions, creating documentation on reporting and explaining complex systems and data succinctly.Presentation skills and explaining complex data analysis.Understanding of business objectives and their relationship to the importance of individual projects.Working with Statistical principles.Delivering solutions to complex problems which require creativity and resourcefulness.Employees in this class are subject to extended periods of sitting, standing and walking, vision to monitor and moderate noise levels. Work is performed in an office environment.
