Assignment Type : Travel Nursing – L&D RN

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : December 22, 2025

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Mississippi or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification

Fetal Monitoring certification

Permanent address must be 50+ miles from facility (per travel nurse requirements)

All certifications must be submitted with application

L&D RN Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery

Monitor and assess fetal and maternal status; interpret data and respond to obstetric emergencies

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

Administer medications and assist with labor interventions as needed

Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital policies and clinical best practices
