• Sheet Metal Mechanics
• to join our team for an upcoming project in
• Orlando, Florida
• . As a Sheet Metal Mechanic, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing sheet metal products and systems, including HVAC ductwork, roofing, and architectural elements.
• Key Responsibilities :
• Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
• Install HVAC duct systems, roofing materials, and architectural sheet metal products according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans.
• Inspect installations for quality and adherence to safety and building codes.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sheet metal products and systems.
• Collaborate with other construction trades to ensure timely project completion.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and using proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Requirements :
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems, ductwork, and other sheet metal applications.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to use sheet metal fabrication tools and equipment.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require standing for long periods.
• Valid driver's license.
