Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant for an outpatient rehab setting with a focus on musculoskeletal and post-operative care in Raceland, LA.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work takes place in an outpatient therapy clinic
  • Patient population includes general musculoskeletal, vestibular, post-operative, and student athletes
  • Expected caseload of 12-14 patients per day with productivity goal of 60 visits per week
  • Double-booking of follow-up visits is expected
  • Eight-hour day shifts with a general expectation of up to 40 hours per week
  • No floating to other clinics required
  • No on-call duties required
  • Main responsibilities include assisting in rehabilitation for general MSK, vestibular, and post-operative patients
  • Productivity expectations include managing both individual and double-booked follow-up visits
  • No float or weekend coverage required
  • Orientation and support provided on site

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant license required if applicable
  • Outpatient experience is preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply
  • First-time travelers are accepted
