Interim Accounts Payable (AP) Manager The project timeline spans a minimum of 18 months.

Pay : $60-$65 / hr.

We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead our AP team, drive process improvements, and ensure the accurate, efficient, and compliant handling of all payables within our healthcare organization.

You’ll manage day-to-day AP operations, oversee vendor relationships, implement best practices, and partner with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and financial integrity.

The Interim AP Manager will lead a 10-person AP team handling approximately 15,000 invoices per month, oversee process improvements, support ongoing automation initiatives, and ensure operational stability during and after the transition.

The role requires strong leadership, hands-on problem-solving, and the ability to evaluate staff performance for readiness to adapt to new technologies.

Experience in large, high-volume AP environments is essential.

The position Is on a hybrid schedule- 3 days in office.

Candidates must be comfortable committing to the full project duration and working closely with both the client and KPMG’s implementation team.

What We’re Looking For : Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of AP experience, with strong leadership skills ERP & advanced Excel expertise Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills Experience in a large, high-volume environment
