About the role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong focus on month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger operations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of accounting experience, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage complex reconciliations and general ledger activities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Journal Entries : Prepare, review, and post accurate journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Account Reconciliations

Perform monthly and quarterly account reconciliations for balance sheet accounts, including bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets, resolving discrepancies promptly.

  • General Ledger Maintenance : Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and categorized.
  • Financial Reporting Support : Assist in the preparation of financial statements, schedules, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Process Improvement : Identify and implement improvements to streamline reconciliation processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
  • Compliance and Audits : Support external audits by providing accurate documentation, reconciliations, and schedules as needed.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, to ensure accurate financial data.
  • Ad Hoc Projects : Assist with special projects, such as system implementations, budget preparation, or variance analysis, as assigned.

    This role is integral to ensure the financial health of the company through scaling process and systems, maintaining timely and accurate financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your attention to detail, organization and time-management skills will play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the company's growth objectives.

    Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with a focus on the technology industry
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills, with a proven ability to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for collaborating with team members and presenting financial data.
  • CPA or CMA certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience with process automation or system migrations is a plus.

    • Annual Salary Range

    $100,000 - $140,000 USD
