As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you conduct routine patrols and respond to situations as needed. Mon 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

Thur 06 : 00 AM - 02 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and / or client management.

Provide customer service by assisting personnel and visitors, answering questions, and responding to requests in a professional manner.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and / or client requirements.

Participate in emergency response activities as needed, including evacuations and lockdowns, while maintaining composure under pressure.

Collaborate with site personnel and local law enforcement as needed to address security-related concerns in the aerospace and defense environment.

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas.

Must have an active Texas Armed Security License or approved by Texas PSB.

Be at least 21 years of age.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
