Job Title : Quality Control (QC) Manager
Location : Wichita, Kansas
Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee quality assurance processes for a construction project on a military base, specifically for the Army Corps of Engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality control within the construction industry, particularly with federal government projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of construction work to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and site personnel to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of quality control processes, inspections, and reports.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients and regulatory agencies, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Provide training and guidance to project staff on quality control practices and procedures.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of subcontractors and suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
Qualifications :
Minimum of five years of experience in quality control within the construction industry.Proven experience working on Army Corps of Engineers projects and familiarity with their procedures.Strong understanding of federal government construction standards and specifications.Experience managing projects with a value of at least $1 million; experience in projects valued between $2 million and $5 million is preferred.Proficiency in using software platforms such as Bluebeam; experience with other construction management software is a plus.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Ideal Candidate Profile :
