About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Shift : 12-hour Day / Night Rotate

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum 2 years of RN experience

License : Required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, TNCC preferred

Must-Have : 6 months experience in Med Surg and ER within the past year

Description :

Local candidates within an 80-mile radius will be considered.

Note if the clinician has ever worked previously in this setting.

All clinicians must badge in and out of the facility.

BLS is required before start date.

ACLS is required before start date.

TNCC is preferred, and NRP would be great to have on hand.

General job duties include functioning independently in the ER and in the Med Surg unit with up to five patients.

Equipment utilized includes computerized charting and medication systems.

The nurse-to-patient ratio in Med Surg is typically 3 to 4 depending on census and acuity.

The dress code requires navy scrubs without logos.

White can be worn under the uniform or a white lab coat.

Mandatory training includes EPIC computer training, one day of ER training, and one day of Med Surg training.

Floating between the ER and Med Surg units is expected.

Three call shifts are required during the 13-week contract.

Weekends and holidays will be required every other week.
