Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the facility. You will interact with employees and visitors, deliver outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while responding to various situations. This is a driving post, so you will operate company vehicles as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate : $15.73 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Fri 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sat 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

Sun 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.

Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required.

Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergencies by following established protocols.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and / or irregularities encountered during patrols.

Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and / or contractors while upholding site-specific policies.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
