At the Inpatient Unit (IPU), we are passionate about delivering exceptional care through our Nursing Professional Practice Model. Our dedicated nursing staff, nurse leaders, interdisciplinary team members, and physician partners work together in a fast-paced, evolving environment to provide specialized medical and rehabilitative care.

As a Staff Registered Nurse (RN) , you will play a crucial role in caring for our acute patients with conditions such as pneumonia, heart failure, and urinary tract infections, as well as providing rehabilitative services for our swing bed patients. Join us in utilizing the latest technology and equipment to make a real difference in our patients' lives!

Your Responsibilities

• Perform all duties specific to the unit's scope of service.
• Implement procedures and theories related to your area of practice.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care to ensure seamless integration of information for the healthcare team.
• Conduct initial assessments upon patient admission and develop tailored care plans based on patient and family needs.
• Continuously evaluate and modify care plans as necessary.
• Ensure patient and employee safety by reporting and correcting hazards.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues to resolve issues and promote professional development.
• Delegate tasks to assigned healthcare team members and validate their completion.
• Administer medications while adhering to the five rights : Right Patient, Right Medication, Right Route, Right Dose, and Right Time.
• Maintain a positive attitude that fosters a healthy work environment.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $33.32 - $57.31 per hour . This range reflects our commitment to fair compensation based on experience, qualifications, and other factors. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package to support our team members and their families.
