About the Role

The Company is looking for a dynamic Director of Development for Data Centers to spearhead the strategic construction and design of advanced facilities. This is a pivotal role for someone who is passionate about driving innovation in data center development.

The successful candidate will orchestrate multi-site initiatives, own project business cases, and ensure that all designs and constructions align with high-performance and sustainability standards. Ideal applicants are those who thrive in fast-paced environments, influence design protocols, and establish effective processes.

Key responsibilities include :

  • Developing and managing critical-path schedules
  • Setting company-wide development standards
  • Overseeing site budgets from inception to completion
  • Translating customer demand into phased capacity plans
  • Maintaining a comprehensive risk register
  • Creating development dashboards
  • Facilitating smooth transitions from design to operational status on Day 1

Applicants should have at least 10 years of demonstrable experience in leading the large-scale development of mission-critical facilities, with a strong background in managing end-to-end budgets. A deep understanding of power distribution, mechanical cooling, structural systems, and commissioning best practices is essential.

Furthermore, the role requires adeptness in aligning cross-functional teams in a high-growth setting and proficiency with project controls and reporting tools. Professional credentials such as PE, PMP, or comparable are preferred. Familiarity with multi-region data center roll-outs, green-energy solutions, liquid cooling, and AI / HPC workloads is a plus.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and be ready to travel as necessary.
