Design Systems Lead

A company is looking for a Design Systems Lead to take ownership of their design system and enhance collaboration between design and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the roadmap and development of the design system, auditing existing components and prioritizing new features

Build system components that are visually coherent and intuitively engineered

Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent adoption of the design system across product areas

Required Qualifications

Experience designing and implementing production-level design systems at scale

Strong collaborative skills with engineering teams to facilitate easy adoption of design systems

Familiarity with component libraries, token systems, and documentation platforms

Ability to advocate for the value and usage of design systems across distributed teams

Interest in leveraging AI approaches to enhance design systems
