Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Float RN, you will :
Provide direct patient care using the nursing process across multiple inpatient unitsDemonstrate flexibility by floating where needed and collaborating with interprofessional teamsAdminister medications, collect specimens, and perform clinical treatmentsDocument care accurately and in a timely mannerMonitor and communicate patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and familiesAssist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-beingAdvocate for the physical and emotional health of patientsParticipate in performance improvement initiatives and required educationWhat We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have :
Education : Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferredExperience : 1-2 years of bedside RN experience required; 2-4 years of critical care experience preferredLicense : Current RN license in the state of practiceSkills : Strong critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in stressful environmentsEffective communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)Working Conditions and Benefits
