Customer Order Coordinator – Manufacturing

SUMMARY : Work as part of a team where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations in our Gilmore customer service department. This position involves various tasks related to order processing, customer communication, and administrative support.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Professionally communicate with customers, dealers, and outside sales reps primarily via email, addressing inquiries related to pricing, purchase orders, and order status.
• Enter orders into the ERP system with timeliness and accuracy.
• Process sales orders, create work orders, and maintain organized filing systems.
• Handle outstanding balances, coordinate with shipping and notify customers.
• Monitor Shopify for sample material order, process and follow up on purchase orders.
• Organize and print purchase orders, sample requests, and approved drawings.
• Coordinate with engineering and manufacturing leadership for lead time and order status.
• Review and approve freight invoices, process purchase orders, and fulfill sample requests.
• Retrieve completed orders and prepare work orders for the next day.
• Provide coverage for other customer service departments when needed.
