CARE is seeking a Sterile Processing Assistant with veterinary experience to join our team! A Sterile Processing Assistant performs decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of instrumentation and medical equipment for surgeries and procedures, utilizing infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.

Requirements :
High School degree or equivalentMinimum of 1 year of Central Supply, Sterile Processing, or veterinary experienceStrong attention to detailAbility to prioritize tasks and manage time effectivelyAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multitaskThe ability to lift up to 40 lbs. unassistedEmotionally intelligentCritical thinking skillsComfortable using computersExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSchedule :
8 : 30AM to 7PM for Full TimeAlternate between Mon-Thurs and Tues-Fri every other week - have a 4-day weekend every other week!Full TimeResponsibilities :
Maintaining proper sterile techniqueProactive distribution of all necessary equipment and instrumentation for surgeries and proceduresCollecting used and contaminated equipment, instruments, and supplies for sorting and decontaminationAccurately handle and care for instruments, including appropriate selection of cleaning agents, identification, and assemblyPreparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilizationOperation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of sterilization equipmentMaintain consistency and continuous workflow between the operating roomsRestock surgical inventoryOther duties as assignedBenefits :
