Join Our Team as the Director of Assisted Living (RSD)

Position Type : Full Time

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM

Position Summary

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents? As the Director of Assisted Living , you will oversee and manage all aspects of our Assisted Living and Memory Support services. Your leadership will ensure that we meet resident needs while adhering to state regulations and organizational policies. This role emphasizes maintaining high-quality standards while achieving our business and financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily administration and operations of Assisted Living and Memory Support services.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, as well as organizational policies.
  • Provide clinical expertise and mentorship, serving as a role model for staff.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring operating budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Create a safe, attractive, and sanitary environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Participate in the QAPI Committee, analyzing and reporting on key performance indicators.
  • Oversee state-required educational programs, including First Aid and CPR training.
  • Collaborate with admissions and marketing teams to promote a positive community image.
  • Stay updated on current standards of practice through workshops and seminars.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control, fire safety, and organizational policies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned and comply with all policy updates.

Position Requirements

Education : A nursing degree from an accredited college or university.

Licenses / Certifications : Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in the practicing state, along with current CPR certification.

Experience : A minimum of 3 years in nursing management.

Skills & Abilities

  • In-depth knowledge of nursing practices, medical procedures, and long-term care regulations.
  • High integrity and a strong commitment to ethical practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to lead change effectively.
  • Strong multitasking abilities and adept at prioritizing projects and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records; experience with Point Click Care is a plus.
