Overview
300Brand is seeking a collaborative and driven Junior Account Executive to support and execute impactful public relations and marketing initiatives for government IT clients. You will help develop media storylines, build relationships with reporters, and broaden your skills in digital content and marketing in a fast-paced, creative environment.
Location : 300Brand Headquarters, Alexandria, Virginia (Hybrid). Position is mostly teleworked, but the candidate must live close to our Alexandria, VA office to attend events in person when needed.
Classification : Regular, full-time position. This position is salaried, non-exempt and eligible for overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Base pay
$55,000.00 / yr - $60,000.00 / yr

What you’ll do
Assist and support the 300Brand team in managing client accounts. Project types include public relations, digital marketing, and events.Public relations responsibilities
Draft and edit written content (press releases, media pitches, bylines) with guidance from senior team membersSupport strategy development by contributing ideas and assisting in PR campaignsAssist with securing and coordinating press interviews, including drafting pitches, researching reporters, and tracking outreachBuild familiarity with IT-focused legislation, industry / technology trends, and client solutions to support team recommendationsHelp track progress toward client program goals and deliverables; provide updates and contribute to client relationshipsMaintain clear, proactive communication with clients and internal teams through timely responses and detailed recapsManage account administration, such as timelines, deadlines, meeting agendas / recaps, and client reportsMarketing responsibilities
Contribute to and support digital content marketing programs, including copy for websites, campaigns, and social media; manage deliverables from start to finishSupport management of project timelines and coordinate tasks with other internal teams (research, creative, content)General responsibilities and expectations
Maintain awareness of 300Brand’s portfolio of servicesResearch clients’ business and public sector IT industry to maintain knowledgeMaintain proactive, clear, and consistent communication with internal colleagues to meet deadlinesDirect junior team members on projects as neededCollaborate across internal teams including creative, digital, research, and contentDeliver responsive service and build positive relationships with stakeholdersAttend and participate in office staff meetings and required trainingsReport to management any problems implementing 300Brand policies or job functionsWhat we’re looking for
1-2 years of public relations or marketing experience; government and / or technology is a plus but not requiredBA / BS degree; Marketing, PR, or Communications preferredStrong oral and written communication; ability to edit for clarity and consistencyStrong attention to detailTeam player with the ability to organize and prioritize under pressureCreative thinker who can generate ideas and manage project details and deadlinesProactive problem solver with initiativeProficiency with technology, marketing software, collaboration tools (e.g., Zoom, Teams, Google Workspace), and AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude)Ability to work 8-hour shifts or more as requiredWillingness to travel for meetings and training as requiredWe are 100% committed to going above and beyond for our clients – and one another.
