The Role

We're looking for an entry-level Project Coordinator who's eager to learn, highly organized, and ready to grow within the custom homebuilding industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, supporting a team, and working in a fast-paced, professional environment. You'll be trained and mentored by experienced project managers and will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of construction coordination.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, comfortable with Microsoft Office tools, and ready to take direction while developing new skills. Basic construction knowledge is helpful but not required - we'll teach the rest.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of residential construction projects.
  • Help maintain project schedules, meeting notes, and progress reports.
  • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and clients under supervision.
  • Organize project documentation, contracts, and permits.
  • Track materials, deliveries, and inspection timelines.
  • Assist with budget updates and change order documentation.
  • Ensure that project details are organized, accurate, and up to date.
  • Contribute to a positive, solutions-focused team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in construction coordination, project administration, or project support.
  • Eager to learn and grow in the construction or project management field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to take direction and follow through on assignments.
  • Effective communicator with a professional demeanor.
  • Basic understanding of construction or homebuilding is a plus, but not required.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to visit job sites locally when needed.
