Title : AWS Tech Lead / Java Tech Lead (especially AWS API gateway, Lambda), Devops Terraform, Java Spring boot, and Microservices.

Location : Irvine, CA (Hybrid 2-3Days)

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled AWDS Developer to lead the migration of APIs from Mulesoft to AWS API Gateway. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cloud-native development, API management, and integration strategies, with a strong foundation in AWS services and Mulesoft Anypoint Platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • API Migration & Development
  • Analyze existing Mulesoft APIs and design equivalent solutions using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and other AWS-native services.
  • Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and reusable APIs using AWS and microservices architecture.
  • Implement API-first strategies and adopt design-first approaches for new integrations
  • Integration & Architecture
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define integration patterns and architecture for cloud migration.
  • Translate legacy integration logic (e.g., webMethods, BizTalk) into AWS-native services
  • Support hybrid integration scenarios involving on-premise and cloud systems.
  • DevOps & CI / CD
  • Set up CI / CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy.
  • Manage infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and optimize application performance using AWS CloudWatch

Documentation & Support

  • Create technical documentation for design, implementation, and migration strategies.
  • Provide post-migration support and troubleshooting.

    • Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack or integration development.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services : Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in Mulesoft Anypoint Platform, including DataWeave and MUnit testing
  • Experience with Java, Node.js, React / Angular, and PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and event-driven architecture (Kafka, Airflow).
  • Knowledge of AWS migration frameworks and best practices

    • Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS and Mulesoft certifications.
  • Experience in legacy modernization and cloud transformation projects.
  • Exposure to tools like Glue, Aurora Serverless, and PySpark for data migration.
