Task Order Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Task Order Project Manager (TOPM) to provide on-site leadership and oversight for a large, complex Audio Visual / Video Teleconference (AV / VTC) task order within a federal program. The TOPM will serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day task order management and execution, ensuring timely delivery of all technical and administrative requirements. The TOPM will collaborate closely with the Government Contracting Officer (KO), Task Order Managers, and customer agency representatives to ensure performance objectives are achieved and technical solutions are delivered according to schedule and contract requirements.

Additional Responsibilities Include, but are not Limited To :

  • Serve as the on-site project manager for a large, complex task order supporting a federal customer.
  • Support the Program Manager in coordinating and communicating with the Government KO, COR, and task order-level managers.
  • Manage task order performance, ensuring deliverables, milestones, and schedules are met in accordance with contract terms.
  • Lead technical and administrative project teams, ensuring effective task execution, issue resolution, and quality assurance.
  • Provide performance, risk, and resource management oversight, including staffing, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Track project progress, prepare status updates, and provide accurate and timely reporting to internal and government stakeholders.
  • Identify process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and mission success.
  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Experience Requirements :

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management or other relevant experience with progressively higher responsibility in the IT and / or consulting fields.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in the public and / or private sector, preferably in IT, consulting, or program management environments.

    • Education Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in a related field. In lieu of a degree, four (4) additional years of relevant experience may be substituted.

    • Certificate, License, and Registration Requirements :

  • Project Management certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent nationally recognized credential.

    • Other Required Skills & Abilities :

  • Experience managing large, multi-disciplinary project teams under federal contracts.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with client and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to : Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.

    • Security Clearance Requirements : Other - IT-II Critical Sensitive security clearance - with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance. US Citizenship Requirements : This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Sawdey Solution Services to staff it only with U.S. Citizens.
