Job Description
An established financial services organization in Chicago is seeking a Business Analyst to join its growing technology and process transformation team. This role acts as an internal consultant, partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to define problems, design creative solutions, and guide system implementations across Finance, HR, Legal, and Compliance functions.

- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within management consulting, product, or enterprise transformation settings.
- Strong understanding of Finance, HR, or Legal processes and related enterprise systems (e.g., Workday, OneStream, MyCompliance Office, or similar tools).
- Proven ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and solution designs.
- Skilled communicator who can facilitate discussions, manage expectations, and build trust across technical and non-technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).\n
Desired Skills & Experience
Background in management consulting or advisory work, ideally with exposure to digital transformation or process optimization.Experience leveraging data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau to tell business stories and track outcomes.Familiarity with Jira and Confluence for project documentation and delivery tracking.A curious, analytical mindset with comfort exploring AI-driven tools to optimize internal workflows or analyze data — beyond basic task automation.Ability to manage multiple priorities, push back on scope when needed, and maintain a collaborative, solution-oriented approach.\nWhat You Will Be Doing\nTech Breakdown :
60% Requirements gathering, business process mapping, and solution design40% vendor coordination, process improvement, and implementation support.\nDaily Responsibilities :
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to uncover needs and define solutions — especially when business partners may not have clear requirements.Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and vendor partners to support system integrations and process automation initiatives.Help design and document new workflows, integrations, and reporting tools that improve scalability and data accuracy.Support ongoing initiatives such as replacing manual carry accounting processes and evaluating new enterprise platforms.Use data visualization tools to communicate insights, track project milestones, and influence decision-making.\nThe Offer\nYou will receive the following benefits :
