Entry Level Laborer

All Things Metal is an industry leader in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection in Arizona. If you are looking to get your foot in the door at a company to learn more about the steel industry and welding, this is a great opportunity. We are hiring an entry level laborer.

Requirements :

• Ability to pass background check and drug screen (this includes marijuana)
• Ability to work in the heat
• Ability to stand most of the shift
• Ability to lift over 50 lbs
• Attention to detail
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of reading a basic part print and computer knowledge a plus
• Willingness to learn
• Reliable transportation to arrive to the job site on time

Duties include, but not limited to : One of the main duties of this specific role will be painting. Prep, clean, and scrape metal for fabricating, welding, painting, or shipping. Operates power tools such as saw, drill, etc. Read and understand a tape measure to 1 / 16" and mark steel for cut & drill. Mastery of proper grinding skills. Lift, load, stack, and move tools, steel & scrap. Clean work area, machines, tools, scrap and equipment.
