We are excited to invite a passionate Audiologist to join our team at our Colleyville, TX clinic. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our service members receive the highest quality of care.
Your Role :
As an Audiologist, you will :
- Utilize your expertise in hearing science to formulate Independent Medical Opinions (IMOs) for military service members.
- Assess the severity of hearing issues, provide diagnoses, and evaluate the relationship between these issues and military service.
Compensation :
Salary : $90k - $170k with quarterly bonus eligibility, based on your experience and qualifications.
Work Schedule & Location :
Monday to Friday (7 AM - 6 PM), with occasional weekend / evening shifts as needed.Clinic Address : 4201 Brown Trail, Ste 100, Colleyville, TX 76034.Enjoy a comprehensive onboarding and training program lasting 3 weeks.Manage a caseload of 12-20 patients daily, with built-in administrative time.Benefit from a supportive team, including Medical Assistants, to enhance your clinic experience.We cover licensing, malpractice, CME costs, and more!All benefits, including medical, dental, and life insurance, are available on DAY 1 !Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Administer and interpret various tests to assess hearing impairment.Evaluate test results in relation to behavioral, social, and educational factors.Utilize electronic medical records and maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.Conduct otoscopic examinations and manage cerumen as needed.Lead training for paraprofessional staff in audiology-specific skills.Complete Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs).Travel up to 50% to provide audiology examinations at multiple locations.Competencies :
Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in patient care.Exhibit strong analytical skills for evaluating medical opinions.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records.Knowledgeable in workplace health and safety concepts.Required Education & Experience :
Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au.D.) from an accredited institution.5+ years of clinical practice experience.Current unrestricted Audiologist license in the state of employment.ASHA and / or AAA certification preferred (cost reimbursement available).Must pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation.Medical clearance required, including passing a TB test and receiving vaccinations.Why Join Us?
