Rapid Response EMS is seeking an experienced Ambulance Biller to join our team. This position requires a strong understanding of Florida ambulance billing regulations, insurance laws, and payer requirements. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and ready to take on the challenges of EMS billing in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare, review, and submit medical claims for ambulance transports in compliance with Florida and federal billing regulations.
- Verify patient and payer information for accuracy and completeness.
- Resolve claim rejections, denials, and appeals in a timely manner.
- Maintain current knowledge of insurance and compliance updates relevant to ambulance services.
- Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to ensure accurate documentation and billing records.
