Gumby's is looking for someone to make drinks, conversation, and regulars. From shaking craft cocktails to understanding our 10-12 rotating beer taps, you're a master in all things behind the bar. An entire spectrum of folks will sit in front of you, and you'll be the member of their group they didn't know they needed. Anticipating their needs, chiming in with well-timed anecdotes, recommending a great pizza - you're the foundation of their good time. Best part? Through hourly pay and tips, you're getting paid to "hang out." Most days of the week, the job is a "one-man show" but as our bartender, you are still part of the Gumbys team where we have a work hard, have fun, no jerks allowed policy. Experience is preferred but not absolutely necessary. Night shift (6pm-1am) availability is necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Be able to talk to anyone & everyone who comes to the bar while providing excellent hospitality.
• Good knowledge of wine, beer, and liquor & different drink recipes.
• Proven working experience as a bartender or extensive hospitality / customer service experience
• Adherence to TABC & store alcohol rules & regulations
• Bartenders keep the bar clean and orderly. This includes everything from wiping down glasses and the bar top to maintaining bar supplies.
• Ability to prep & stock the bar between service
• No drinking while on the clock
