This position is for a Chemical Engineering COOP on the Z-fab microelectronics team who will apply Industrial Engineering concepts, techniques, analysis, and decision tools to promote and implement changes in manufacturing operations to achieve site goals. This role's overarching responsibilities are improving quality, reducing costs, and improving safety and the flow of products through process improvements.

This role will provide the opportunity for independent action AND working in a team environment of manufacturing engineers, production personnel, management, and other support organizations. You will be assigned to projects with high priority and visibility to improve this facility's capability to be the best manufacturing facility in the world.

What You Will Do :

• Support day-to-day manufacturing processes including : Photolithography, Metrology, and Plating
• Conduct studies on cost control, cost reduction, inventory, and production record systems
• Develop and enhance fabrication processes
• Drive continuous improvement of process capability index

Salary :

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.
