About The Position

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Experience : Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required

License : Must have active state license or proof of application for license

Certifications : BLS, NMTCB (ARRT preferred)

Must-Have :

• General skills : IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS
• Experience with nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac, bone scans, and thyroid studies
• Proficiency in handling radioactive materials and preparing doses

Description :

Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies using various radioisotope equipment.

Prepare stock solutions of radioactive materials and calculate doses to be administered by radiologists.

Subject patients to radiation exposure as needed.

Daily caseload includes general nuclear medicine studies such as bones, renals, gastric emptying, GI bleeds, and cardiac studies.

Will participate in on-call duty one night per week and one weekend per month.

Experience with EPIC charting system is required.

Must be able to work independently and handle a diverse patient demographic including adolescents to geriatrics.

Candidates should be seasoned travelers in the field, but first-time travelers with strong experience will be considered.

Flu vaccine is required during flu season, and compliance with COVID-19 vaccine requirements is necessary.

Candidates will be expected to work some holidays, with time off approved at managerial discretion.
