Manager, Event Programming
The Hill is seeking a Manager, Event Programming, who will be responsible for crafting and producing compelling thought leadership discussions for its growing events portfolio.
This position will report to the Managing Director of Event Programming and collaborate with a dynamic, dedicated team of events, sales and marketing professionals to execute a variety of thought leadership events, nationally.
Responsibilities :
- Create content plans for policy briefings, roundtables and summits, providing well-researched speaker suggestions and thematic summaries
- Book guests and / or recruit participants for events on a wide range of topics in the domestic and global policy and advocacy sphere, maintaining a rolodex of experts across a wide variety of public and private sectors to meet with the goals of each event
- Work with internal and external partners to meet deadlines and communicate updates in a collaborative environment
- Conduct preparation call and draft briefing materials for event moderators and speakers
- Manage coordination with speaker contacts and ensure alignment with event objectives and timing
- Produce on-site program and any necessary elements related to the content and promotion of the speakers
- Write copy for invitations, microsites, summaries of discussion topics, and copy edit others' work related to event content
- Ability to edit video and produce social assets is a plus

Compensation Range : $48 - $52 hourly based upon experience
