Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking a  Cardiovascular Surgeon  to join a well-established private practice serving the Lufkin community and surrounding region. About the Practice :

This  established surgical program  offers a comprehensive range of advanced procedures, including :

• Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG)
• Valve repair and replacement
• Thoracic procedures
• Vascular surgery

Practice Details :

– 10 call days / month (24-hour shifts, 7am–7am)

– 1–2 phone consults per day on average

– Hospital visits 1–3 times weekly for emergencies

– Hospitalists handle general inpatient consults; CV surgeon responds within 24 hours

– 2 dedicated CV Surgery ORs with full block time management

– Access to 2  DaVinci Xi robotic systems

– Surgical assist for CABG, office manager, receptionist

– Anesthesia support : 80% MD anesthesiologist / 20% CRNA
