Additional requirements include : \nBasic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.\nACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.\nRequires one at least one year of work experience. Greater than 2 years preferred.\nWhat you will do\nWill be responsible and accountable for providing and coordinating patient care.\nIdentifies and addresses patient's needs and priorities through assessment, planning and collaboration with other health care providers.\nWill execute physician orders and supervise the implementation of nursing interventions.\nWill advocate for the patient representing the patient's interests when illness prevents an individual from being physically or emotionally able to express their own feelings or thoughts.\nWill be responsible to care through the outcomes of clinical results, patient satisfaction and acceptable cost.\nAbout our Health System\nNorth Alabama Shoals Hospital is a 178-bed general acute care facility boasting spacious, private rooms for all patients, a 24-hour emergency department, medical and oncology services; medical / surgical inpatient units; and intensive care and short-stay surgery units.
