We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Estimator to join our team in the aviation components industry. This role is essential in providing precise cost estimates and pricing proposals for CNC machining, fabrication, and finishing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing and aerospace estimation, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems. Responsibilities include reviewing RFQs and technical drawings related to aviation components, analyzing machining requirements, collaborating with engineering and procurement, preparing detailed cost estimates, maintaining cost databases, interfacing with customers, and tracking quote performance.

Essential skills include 2+ years of experience as an Estimator in machining and aerospace, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, experience with ERP systems, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, strong written and verbal communication skills, and excellent analytical skills.

This position is based in an office attached to a manufacturing building, providing a small office setting that supports the machine shop. The role offers long-term stability with good employee tenure, making it an ideal environment for professional growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, Kansas. The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
