Load Checker needed in the Great State of North Carolina

• Contract Lumber is looking for a Load Checker (Quality Control) to join our team in Statesville, North Carolina!
• This person will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of lumber and building materials before delivery or installation.
• You’ll help maintain high standards across the yard by inspecting loads, identifying defects, and promoting a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
• Day to Day Inspect outgoing loads for accuracy and quality before delivery.
• Monitor and assess incoming lumber and building materials for damage or defects.
• Work closely with Load Builders and Drivers to ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe lumber yard.
• Document and report any quality issues or inconsistencies.

• Skill Set Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to identify and resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Familiarity with lumber and building materials is a plus.
