ICU RN Job Details Location : Lima, Ohio (45801) Healthcare Setting : ICU Overflow Unit (24-36 beds; high acuity; neuro, cardiac, postsurgical) Assignment Type : Travel nursing job Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 14, 2026 Contract Duration : 13 weeks Hours per Week : 36 Nursing Shift : 12-hour nights; every other weekend and holiday required Scrub Color : Navy blue Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780 - $1910 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active RN license in Ohio or compact state (required for Ohio healthcare jobs) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications Successful completion of Dysrhythmia Exam (study guide available) Ability to float to PCU, MS / Tele, or ICU units as needed Proficiency with Alaris pumps, ventilators, CPAP / BiPAP, and pressors Preferred experience : IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, Impella, SWAN, ECMO Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations ICU Nurse Responsibilities Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments; develop individualized care plans Implement and evaluate treatment interventions for critically ill patients Administer medications and manage advanced life-support modalities Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams (intensivists, residents, mid-level providers) Float to PCU, MS / Tele, or ICU units as needed Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and manage multi-system organ failure or trauma cases Educate patients and families; coordinate care and serve as a point of contact Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, and compassionate care in a fast-paced clinical setting Apply now to join our healthcare team in Lima, Ohio and take the next step in your ICU nursing career!
