About The Position

Job Title : Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist

Profession : Diagnostic Imaging

Specialty : Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7p - 7a

Hours per Shift : 36

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : High school diploma or equivalent

Certifications : Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire

Must-Have : Ability to work in both CT and X-Ray

Description :

Perform all aspects of patient care in a radiology environment that optimizes patient safety.

Ensure compliance with patient care quality standards for all age groups of patients.

Promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Identify patient service requirements by establishing personal rapport with patients.

Ensure operation of radiology equipment by completing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting malfunctions.

Maintain radiology supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders for needed supplies.

Comply with legal and professional requirements by studying existing legislation.

Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications.

Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with established procedures.

Gain patient cooperation by reducing anxieties and providing explanations of treatment.

Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning and adjusting equipment.

Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.

Protect employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.

Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards.

Document patient care services by charting in patient records.

Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Adhere to dress code, maintaining a neat and clean appearance.

Complete annual education requirements.

Maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Report to work on time and as scheduled.

Wear identification while on duty.

Maintain regulatory requirements.

Represent the organization in a positive and professional manner at all times.
