Job Title : Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical / Telemetry

Contract Duration : 2 Months

Location : Lafayette, LA

Work Type : Onsite

Key Responsibilities :

Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical / Telemetry provides direct nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg / Telemetry unit, following established protocols and best practices.

Monitor, interpret, and respond to telemetry readings, reporting abnormalities to the physician promptly.

Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed.

Perform ongoing assessments, document changes in condition, and adjust care plans accordingly.

Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.

Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare staff to coordinate care.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Adhere to infection control, safety, and HIPAA compliance standards.
