About the Role

We're looking for a General Ledger Accountant to join our growing Finance team at a fast-paced, global SaaS company. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is excited to tackle complex problems, support multiple business functions, and partner closely with executive leadership. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented, proactive communicator who brings precision to their work and can adapt quickly in a landscape of change.

This is a high-visibility role with cross-functional impact, you'll work closely with teams across the business including FP&A, Legal, GTM, and Operations. We're looking for someone who's not just technically strong, but who can bring clarity to ambiguity, drive operational improvements, and jump in wherever needed to support the team.

What You'll Do

• Own and manage key aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance accuracy and efficiency
• Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
• Support internal and external audit processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Participate in the preparation of consolidated financial statements for our global entities
• Present financial insights and operational risks to executive leadership, enabling strategic decisions
• Serve as a resource for the broader accounting team, stepping in wherever needed to support coverage, special projects, or shifting priorities
• Collaborate on ad-hoc financial projects involving data synthesis, modeling, and scenario planning
• Support accounting for complex SaaS transactions, including revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and commissions.
